New year new treats: January homewares shopping guide

Happy new year!

I went back to work today (my day job is in PR, if you didn’t already know!), and I cannot believe how quickly the festive break went by this year. I had such an amazing week and a bit off, and now feel relaxed and ready to get back into a routine again.

Motivation is at an all time low though, not even going to lie. I went on my Peloton bike for 5 minutes on my lunch break today, and then got pissed off and gave up. (Authenticity is key – I’m not the type to sugarcoat things.)

ANYWAY, I thought it might be nice to put together a January homewares shopping guide as my first article on Massive Orange Book this year. I’m in the process of saving for my own flat in Bristol, so I love reading guides like this to give me ideas for when I finally buy my own place. I love these vases. They’re so affordable but swear they look so boujee and fabulous. One of my things this year is to prioritise shopping in small businesses or independents instead of just being lazy and going straight to Amazon. Not that I’d look for something like this on Amazon, but you get the gist!
