Domaine Bousquet was founded in 1997, by Languedoc-Roussillon winemaker, Jean Bousquet, who whilst on holiday in Argentina seven years earlier, discovered what was then the virgin territory of Gualtallary, and what he considered to be the perfect terroir for growing organic grapes. Over the ensuing years he sold his Pennautier-based winery and vineyards – Domaine Lalande – and invested in just under 1,000 acres of what was technically desert. Domaine Bousquet is now a world leader in sustainable winemaking, with measures including: 100% organic & vegan; water conservation; biodiversity in the vineyard; supporting the local economy; and lightweight glass to reduce carbon emissions.

Cameleón symbolises the Bousquet family’s move, in 1997, from their native France to the then unchartered territory of Argentina’s high-altitude Tupungato and the subsequent adaptation to the region’s terroir. Like all Domaine Bousquet wines, the Cameleón range is 100% organic and produced according to sustainable principles. It is a very expressive wine, with aromas of dark cherry and plum fruits, evolving to the rich notes of blackberry and fig. With soft, velvety tannins, it matches well to rich red meat dishes.

Domaine Bousquet’s Finca Lalande Organic Malbec 2020
Finca Lalande, which translates as “The Land”, pays homage both to its founder’s French roots and to the terroir of the Tupungato district of Mendoza’s Uco Valley; specifically, the Alto Gualtallary Valley, which at up to 5,249 feet, lies at the very limits of viticultural possibility, in terms of altitude, remoteness and absence of water. This inhospitable terroir is ideal for organic viticulture; Domaine Bousquet was the pioneer of organic certification in Argentina in 2001 – 100% of its vineyards are organic and have been since the very beginning. Rich and medium-bodied, this well-balanced Argentinian Malbec has intense aromas of figs, red and black fruits, with plum notes, blueberries and blackberries on the palate and soft, elegant tannins.

Andi Theokle – fine art prints
Androulla Theokle, or simply Andi, is an international fine artist based in London, Wiltshire and Europe. Andi is of Greek Cypriot descent, and showcases her work on her website (www.anditheokle.com) and has displayed her latest creations throughout the United Kingdom and abroad at many galleries and shows.
Andi’s collections are diverse as she likes to push herself with every new collection. From large scale black Indian ink on canvas, to large scale landscapes of the desert, Using ink directly from the pipette to paint cityscapes and painting bright acrylic nudes to explore the personality of the models as well as large scale ink paintings of reflections on water and beautiful sky scapes.
